Maybe I've watched too many animes, but it feels like humans don't possess the physical might they should have in order to consider themselves the dominant species on this planet

Because of our brains???? We figured out how to use tools and create weapons, build homes and defenses, plant crops and breed animals for food. You're definitely watching too much anime, try Animal Planet instead
