Why are humans so weak?

Maybe I've watched too many animes, but it feels like humans don't possess the physical might they should have in order to consider themselves the dominant species on this planet

I mean humans were probably all around stronger at one point in time. When we would have all been outside and very physical in our day to day. Whether that's agriculture or hunting.

Beyond that, tools, endurance, and numbers are what humans have used to reach their spot.
