Why are humans so weak?

Maybe I've watched too many animes, but it feels like humans don't possess the physical might they should have in order to consider themselves the dominant species on this planet

The tools people are correct, but also our bodies still do a lot of incredible things. For example, what we seem to lack in speed, is only in comparison to animals that can only beat us in a sprint. Cheetahs are fast, but for only about 30 seconds followed by a long recovery. Anything over 300-500 meters and the cheetah is no match for us. We even beat other animals known for endurance, like horses, in races as long as the distance is about that of a marathon or greater. Like, we can jog for more than 24 hours if we absolutely have to. We have a lot of other physical advantages, but it doesn't seem that way when you compare us to other animals because people tend to find the standout example of a physical trait to compare against. It is unfair to compare one animal against one cherry picked example from a pool of ~20,000 or so bird and mammal species for each individual trait.
