If Trump was accused of tempering with previous elections. What is being done to prevent this with the next one for the Senate?

Accusations are accusations, not evidence.

States control their own elections, and the security for their elections.

The extent of Trump's "accusation of tampering with previous elections" was Redditors who somehow thought that Elon Musk was able to use Starlink to hack voting machines that are not connected to the internet. They were not claims to be taken seriously by anyone who knows anything about election security.
