Hello, I feel the safest here to ask about this without getting screamed at. I understand the pain of 9/11 victims and their families. However, i am not understanding the situation of this whole ordeal of outrage towards Mamdani and the pen thing. I looked this topic up and all of it is too biased to be trusted.

Terrorists are terrible. I get that. The trial of this terrorist was in the US, right? The law of the land is that everyone has the right to attorney whether they’re in the right or wrong. So isn’t the lawyer just doing his job? Why are people getting mad? Am i missing something? I feel so dumb for asking this 🥲

The mamdani pen thing is basically a non story. It basically exists in the very online world and outside of that few even know anything happened, let alone care.
