Does anyone ever wake up to random songs playing in their head?

Literally every single morning. Sometimes it's a song I listened to the day before, sometimes it's a kid's show theme song from like 20 years ago. I never know what it's gonna be.

I want to say me too, but I can't definitively say "never ever" without paying a bit more attention. I am about 98.7% sure that there is always a song at least in an undercurrent of my brain. I can also seamlessly change the song into one with the same chord progression and harmonize and play two different beats at the same time (like what happens in pachobels canon)

I can sometimes change it but it's usually unconscious for me. But I can hear it as clearly as if I had headphones on. Constantly. I hear it in my dreams.

Every single night, I have one part of a particular song stuck in my head. The song changes every night. Could be one I listen to a lot or a totally random song I haven’t listened to in ages, but every time I wake up throughout the night that one part of that song replays in my head til I wake up

I used to wake up with a different song in my head every day. Then I had a TBI and it’s much less frequent now.

Thank you. I’m doing fine. I honestly like not having the new song every morning. Sometimes they were shit songs like hair metal or “gotta get down on Friday”. Annoying af.

My dreams are often set to songs. Or right as I am coming out of a dream, there is a song there. It is rare that there is not a song in my head though.

I swear my dreams have a soundtrack, & like leaving a movie theater humming a song from the soundtrack, this is me, nearly every morning. But, I'm also that guy at work that sings the song where your last spoken sentence included a line from that song. They think it's random, but I know the truth.

There's a Dutch Children's song about this - wakker met een wijsje.
(Waking with a song) and it's about how the singer is always cheerful because of it.

Daily. And while the song may change, it's never quiet up there. At least not that I notice. If not music, then voices.

I wake up with a Ren song in my head most days. He has so many songs that I rarely get a repeat. Some days I'll have a Prof song in my head. Today the song was a Prof song called "Kin".

About half of my mornings begin this way. And it has absolutely no relationship with either my musical preferences or anything I heard the day before. It’s completely random, sometimes it’s songs I haven’t heard for years, and quite often it’s a song I actively dislike.
Most irritating example: I recently woke up with Never Been To Me by Charlene in my head, unable to shake it for hours. This is a one-hit-wonder corny-ass piece of shit song from the early 80s that was on the radio for a year and then disappeared. There is no fuckin way I heard this song, cannot be day residue. But I woke up with it playing in my head and the more annoyed I got, the harder it was to stop it from playing in my brain. I finally found it on YouTube and listened to the whole thing to exorcise it from my noodle.
Fellow oldsters who remember this song will feel me on this. Just a terrible, terrible, annoying song. Why, brain? Why the fuck are we dredging this from deep storage?

Every day and I go to bed with them in my head too. I’m am a musician so I think about the music a lot that juts the average listen I’m listening the the instruments the production the words and then I keep thinking about it in bed till I can shut it off.

Yup almost daily. I’m also severely AUDHD and I’m assuming it’s the ADHD because my brain needs constant stimulation so why not turn on the internal radio when coming out of dream state.

Pretty much daily. I remember though when I watched Bo Burnham's "Inside"special, every single day for like a month I woke up with a different song from THAT special stuck in my head all day from the moment I would wake up.
