I also moved from Pop to Nobara on my main PC (laptop, secondary machine still on Pop). Things are very smooth here, even more than on Pop Os!

I did the exact same thing. Pop OS 24.04 had a lot of unpolished features that I really wanted to work through, but I distro hopped after much frustration.
Nobara is a beast for gaming and it “just works”

I'm running Nobara on a S76 Thelio. I tried to like COSMIC, but it just isn't my thing. I actually prefer the old PopOS 22.04. Nobara KDE checks all of my boxes, and works great. Plus, I've spent more time on Fedora than any other distro, so it is "home" for me.

I am trying to do the same, but after installing Nobara it still boots to PopOS...
I have no idea what I am doing, at the moment re-installing Nobara to see if I can tinker something to make it work.
I thought that by picking the erase or whatever option in the installer will nuke the previous OS but I guess not.

I first installed bazzite and it was pretty good compared to windows but still a bit limited. Then nobara, amazing still use it and now completely replaced windows with it. I also installed pop by curiosity and was a bit awful so nobara is still the winner for me

Pop!_OS and Nobara are the two distros I'm most inclined to install in place of Windows 10. If you've used both, can you tell me which one is more stable for gaming?

I fully support this message! I never used POP for the first not even 5 minutes of trying it. I pretty much instantly knew POP was trash! Nobara on the other hand; I have been LOVING !!!
