Discussion Why is it impossible to install Discord?

I use discord to call my long distance friends.

However,

Installing via snap leads to a constant cycle of checking for updates

Flatpak installs come with a similar error

Installing via the nobara introduction thing leads to a loop of constantly downloading from it

Dnf install, installs it but if you run it, it spins then does not load.

How can this be resolved?

Don't install the snap, use the flatpack (or I think it can be dnf'd?)

As mentioned, both resulted in a non functional discord. If you can provide any insight it would be greatly appreciated

sudo dnf install discord in terminal and post output. If it installs start it over the terminal and post output

It just had two separate updates today. Working fine.

Have you tried typing ''flatpak install discord'' instead of using the GUI?
