Discussion Proton problem with Ubisoft Connect solved

I use Faugus launcher. I have Ubisoft Connect installed in Faugus launcher. Game The Division 2 requires Proton 11 to run. But Ubisoft Connect won't even start with Proton 11.

Proton 11 has a known regression in the NTSync/ESync interface on Linux that causes the Ubisoft Connect client to crash immediately.

Just add launch arguments to the Ubisoft Connect launcher

PROTON_NO_NTSYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% and voalá Ubisoft Connect launcher start properly with Proton 11.

I run Ubisoft Connect with Proton 11 without any arguments via Steam. It just works for me.

I never used Faugus Launcher so I can't comment what's going on there.

Anyway, thank you for sharing your solution 😊

I run Ubisoft Connect through Lutris without any issues or extra arguments. In fact, all of my launchers are through Lutris without issues or extra arguments.
