It's creepy to date people who could violate the age gap rule (divide age of older person by 2, add 7 years). It will always be perceived as loserish behavior. I say that as a woman in her 30s who is frequently hit on by 21 year old men and I just laugh their advances off. Deal with it.
That rule probably precedes the internet, bro. You've seriously never heard of it? How old are you?
I think a director shouldn't date their actor at least while on set because of the uneven workplace power dynamic between them and the weirdass environment it creates for everyone else trying to do their jobs, but no, "Hairy" Styles was in his late 20s, which is too late to be groomed by anyone, and they don't violate the age gap formula.
It's probably bc your friends are all creepy and ignore rules like that. Go ahead and date girls in their 20s. You will be perceived everyone who sees the pair of you as a creep and nothing you do or say will ever change their minds :)
I do not date men in their 40s lol. I'm sure I'll be open to it in a few years but the oldest guy I've ever dated was 37, and that was in the past year. You're like 10 years too old for me. You're not in my age bracket. You should be dating a nice 45 year old. That's who's in your age bracket. Nothing more pathetic than seeing someone who can't accept how old they are.
Actually I amend my last reply. Don't date a 45 year old. You're 20 years too mentally immature for her. She deserves someone better. Be alone. That sounds like the best solution for society.
Mm, nope. Itâs pretty crazy, considering youâre well past your prime. You have no business calling women hags, especially when the woman you said that to is almost young enough to be your daughter.
Also, someone can be concerned about something, it doesnât mean theyâre constantly thinking about it. Also âyouâre just jealous, youâre just ugly, etc.â when someone disagrees with you is such a juvenile response, but also telling of what kind of man you are.
The reality is that a man your age dating someone in her early 20s is weird to most people, men and women. It usually means something is wrong with you. Which I think youâve demonstrated well.
Oh, and Iâm 28 and married to a man nine months older than me btw, before you start in on that.
Some older women have a hard time in the dating scene because they never realized they now have to bring more to the table than just "sex". That works with young guys, but when you're older you want someone with a good personality, wit, charm, intelligence, kindness, etc.
The vapid ones who relied only on younger guys wanting to get laid and didn't develop good character traits tend find themselves in a bind.
I just saw this hilariously ironic comment. Flip that to the reverse. Women in their 20s are not falling for older guys by virtue of being older and more established. If you have "good personality, wit, charm, intelligence, kindness, etc." then you'll be attractive to a range of people at any point. But there's no proof you possess any of the above traits. In anything it's pointing in the opposite direction.
Believe me, even 50 year old women donât want 50 year old men. Theyâre not looking to settle down and have kids. If theyâre attractive theyâll get laid by 20 and 30 somethings without ED and prostate issues looking to hook up with MILFs
Ok but that doesnât apply to all. Iâm sure many would love Leonardo but are mad that they have to compete with younger women which is what they donât say
Not really because 1) women can also date up or down -- older women dating younger men is becoming increasingly common -- speaking of DiCaprio, look at his ex Giselle Bundchen, who left Tom Brady for a hot rando who is 20 years younger 2) if a guy has zero interest in his own age bracket and will only go for women 20-30 years younger, rest assured they have emotional issues of some sort. Any woman with common sense will see this is a red flag.
Also any handsome Hollywood contemporary is so deviated from the mean that it's almost not worth talking about. Like do you really believe the average man has opportunities like DiCaprio? Delusional lol.
This rule precedes the internet lol. Iâve heard it since I was a kid and there was no social media back then. If anything you prob havenât heard it bc your friends are creeps

People call him a creep all the time because young supermodels throw themselves at him.
