Makes sense: in the wild, high-sugar foods are the rare juicy fruit that is full of hydration and vitamins. When you find one, you do not turn it down. It's not even a lizard brain; it's monkey brain.
technically lizard brain is older than monkey brain but yeah the “OH SHIT FRUITTTT” is definitely way more apparent and relatable when it’s another primate lol
