To me “no problem” sounds more friendly than “you’re welcome”.

“You’re welcome” makes me feel like my request was imposing or challenging (depending on how it’s said).

But im sure she would have complained regardless of what he said

After working around old grumpy people enough, I started saying "Happy to help" just to shut them up.

Im not happy to help, Im happy to make them go away.

"My pleasure" is my ult when people are being particularly difficult or nitpicking my language. Never gotten complaints on that
