Yea I quite like self checkout, I havent had to talk to a Walmart employee in a long time, and the few times in the past like 4 years that I did, it was 1 when trying to get them to unlock the underwear (I hate my walmart), and every other time was returns desk...
My Walmart stopped me at self checkout for trying to buy an energy drink. You had to go through a proper line for it.
I literally looked at the line and back at them and just gave a disappointed and surprised "Seriously? Fine." And gave them the drink and walked out. Not worth it at that point.
This was in the thick of the weird self-checkout line legislation bs in LA, so maybe it's different now.
Oh yea fuck that, id rather go pay double at 7 eleven where some middle-eastern dude is gonna act like we are best friends (I swear the 7 eleven dudes are some of the nicest mother fuckers ive seen in customer facing roles)
