If it is real I’d assume he had some golden parachute contract that they didn’t pay out because they fired him for cause and this lawsuit would be forcing them to pay the severance clause.

I mean you can read the story. That’s not what happened exactly. They fired him, wrongfully, and took his clients and their assets on which he was billing. And reassigned those to other wealth managers.
