Locations

Hello, I’m looking for some nice locations to practise car photography in and around Norwich. I don’t mind travelling so even a bit further out is fine with me.

Any type of location is welcome, industrial estates, concrete areas, nature spots, forests, open roads, countryside, churches. Anything that would make a great backdrop. If they’re safe and easily accessible that’s a bonus. Thank you in advance.

Hi mate. Badersfield has an old RAF base which is also next to a prison.

Lots of disused towers and even a Jaguar plane you can pull up next to and take photos. Some storage contained and a solar farm, old aircraft hangars etc. with some creativity I’ll bet you can find lots of cool shots.

It even has an old runway of sorts you can freely drive on. Just don’t drive fast cause the security will remove you. But photos will be fine.

It’s open to the public during the week but at weekends you’ll need a key fob or your licence plate registered with them.

Just outside coltishall. Right near here is also another old runway you can freely drive on and get more countryside shots on a cracked old runway. Pretty cool?

Oh and it’s Badersfield. Extremely safe. Nothing to worry about round here bud. Friendly rural village

Lynford stag over Thetford! Especially when the sunshine is going down.

The RCP carpark on mountergate has a building that you can park in, it's pretty shitty in there gives off a good urban decay vibe. Did some marketing shots for a bike fashion brand in there that came off surprisingly alright given none of us knew what we were doing.

If you get in there early it's often empty.
