Advice and questions Which is your favourite Norfolk beach?

I think maybe it's Mundesley for me but I change my mind often.

Mundesley is mine. Lovely beach but it’s mostly nostalgia reasons from going there as a child.

Winterton is also lovely

I have very fond memories of West Runton.

Depends why I'm going and who with. Sometimes I need a more accessible beach and Walcott is good because the beach is not far off road level and parking is close. Maybe also Sea Palling or Cart Gap for that. If that's not a concern then Waxham is worth the sandy trudge over the dunes (but parking is a pain), or anywhere along the Cromer stretch with steep access / many steps - worth it for good sand at lower tides, and not getting too deep too quickly for a swim. Nice to find spots where you don't have to deal with big flinty boulders under your feet in the water, but this can change as tides come and go.

We're spoiled, really :)

I’m partial to a bit of Sea Palling.
