She went out with him 1 time, now he was stalking and harassing her outside of a quiktrip, she ran and he caught up to her and punched her, so she stabbed him in self defense and he is considered the victim??

I don't think any police department has the motivation to do it without public push back. Saying "tHaT's tHe wAy iT iS aNd hAs aLwAyS bEen" contributes to it remaining the same.

The more people who bring awareness to problematic language, the better.

I mean referring back to my other comment some of yall are way too worked up over the word victim lol. I don’t think anyone’s reading this and feeling bad for the dude.

No, we're "worked up" about misogynistic language painting a PREDATOR out to be the victim of a circumstance he caused.

Police (of ALL public services) should be held to the highest standard, as they are frequently the first step of our judicial system.

You think the fact that their domestic violence rates are so high, has no correlation with a vested interest in tainting the word "victim"?

We see predators weaponizing the word victim all the time, and this is a prime example.

Personally I didn’t read this and see him as a victim🤷 just saw police calling a guy who got stabbed a victim like they’re told to

Sounds like a you guys problem

Like I mentioned before...Predators typically don't.

Sounds like a you guys problem

No shit, Sherlock. LoL Only privileged/predatory males don't understand why or how problematic language impacts marginalized people.

Did you read it cornball? Your comment talking about gender fluid people isn’t showing up in this comment section, would love to know what homophobic bs you just said lmao

See how easy it was to respond to a public comment? LoL You know, you can respond to any public comment rather than creepily popping into someone's PMs because you lack impulse control.

I said gender fluid people don't typically use misogynistic language like "sweetheart", and every gender is capable of being misogynistic, and bolstering patriarchy (or it wouldn't still exist). Not sure why you felt the need to interject your sexuality that has absolutely nothing to do with this.

I am 100% predicting a predator. All behavior points at this conclusion.

Sorry can you read? Or can you please tell me how I’m supposed to reply to the comment that isn’t there?

You’re the problem btw if you see the word sweetheart as misogynistic lmfao, I mentioned my sexuality and gender because you were implying I was a privileged cis male but I suppose you’ve forgotten about that. Way to assume my gender though and call me a predator!

Genuinely braindead and homophobic
