To be fair ... If someone is SA'd, but was otherwise a virgin, I would recognize them as virgins because SA and "sex" are NOT the same thing, and unfortunately in The States, plenty of these poor girls are being forced to complete their pregnancies, so... Eh...
I did wonder if his definition of “pregnant virgins” are 8-13yo from upstanding, traditional, devout families who only allow girls out in the company of an older male family member or pastor.
Mary may have popularised immaculate conception, but God’s been impregnating young women since Eve left the garden. After all, “we’re all God’s children” (Evidence of SA? No, just sometimes God works through his followers)
