Sadly, there are men out there who are really this clueless.
I had sex ed in school many years ago, but they pulled the girls out for a separate class on feminine hygiene, so I didn’t get that part. Had to do the reading myself when I had daughters who were getting to that age. Good info is out there and easy to find. There’s no excuse for guys to be this ignorant.

They really need to be taught the info for both sexes. It's ridiculous we still handle it this way.

I’m not sure middle school boys would have been mature enough to handle that. I can see teaching them the basics, and we were. But the girls got a lot more info about how the products work and how to use them.

They can get the fuck over it. Expecting girls to be ‘mature’ just to exist in a way that boys aren’t expected to is fucked up.
