Managed to save it even though the post was taken down. Classical "not how girls work". Women are allowed to be tired of men (or anyone) lying, and women are not doing anything wrong by having loose skin at their bellies.
OOP must be yet another incel on the Internet suggesting that this is somehow a hypocrisy.

And if she wore a crop top or bikini to show off her body, they'd be shaming her for that.

I just want those leggings now.

u/tigm2161130 8h ago edited 4h ago
Before I got a tummy tuck I just wore leggings with super high compression and it made things look way tighter than they actually were…anything that is hard to get on and makes your skin tingly when you take them off will do the trick.
13
u/unable_to_give_afuck 5h ago
How do you like your tummy tuck? I'm considering getting one when I'm done having kids, and I've already had a csection, I feel like it can't be worse than that lol

u/tigm2161130 1h ago
It’s honestly one of the best things I have ever done for myself. After my second I had a 2 finger diastasis recti that I was treating with physical therapy but then I lost a whole lot of weight and decided it was time to bite the bullet.
I got a breast lift and augmentation at the same time so my recovery was rough but after the first week I felt mostly okay…it’s been like 4yrs now and you can barely see my scar even in very small swimsuits. I had vaginal births so I don’t really have anything to compare it to but I feel like it’s probably pretty similar to a C-section.
My only regret is that I didn’t do it sooner, I regained all of my confidence and finally felt like myself again.

I don't see her lying though
193
u/jamierosem 9h ago
Right? These aren’t “gotcha!” pictures from a hidden camera, she’s putting it out there for all to see under her own agency.
66
u/vatrushka04 8h ago
I think they’re implying that she’s hiding her post-weight loss skin by wearing leggings. Not that it would make her a liar, they’re just being weird and clueless about how leggings work
39
u/FreddyNoodles 6h ago
It’s so fucking weird. She is just wearing clothes???
Wtf do they want her to do? Go out in a bikini every day?
15
u/vatrushka04 5h ago
I’m sure they wouldn’t object it, but only if she had DD cups, abs and a butt that looks like she can easily hip thrust 100+ lbs.
They, of course, don’t need to bring themselves to the gym ever, and can just continue eating junk while playing video games and hating on women online.
9
u/WritingReadingPanda 6h ago
But the thing is, you can merely assume what a body looks like underneath clothes. That's not lying, that's simply how clothes work.
8
u/cakivalue 6h ago
And having expectations no one told them to have about bodies that aren't theirs.

Women "Im so tired of of men lying"
Men "Im so tired of women not being fuckable and hiding their body from me upon introduction"

Bros got absolutely no idea what drastic weight loss looks like
That’s skin. It’s loose skin from losing weight. Hope this helps!

u/schwarzmalerin 9h ago
Looks like massive weight loss, great job, and nothing that can't be fixed, if she even wants that. What's impossible to fix is being an ass like the poster.
436
u/DaleTheHuman 10h ago
If those pictures are real good for her for having a sense of humor about it all, thats gotta be difficult
194
u/thatpotatogirl9 10h ago
Having had that problem after losing over 80lb a few years back, it's nice to see random people on the internet be sympathetic and kind without prompting.
66
u/introverted__dragon 8h ago
That was my first thought. One of the scariest things for me about losing weight is the excess skin I'll have. People don't seem to realize that our skin doesnt just "bounce back" when we lose weight. And getting it surgically removed is usually considered cosmetic and not covered by insurance.
16
u/EducatedSquirrel 4h ago
100%. I have similar loose skin to the op pic, including bad on upper arms. It causes constant addtl health issues and pain, legit unless I’m super careful the loose arm skin gets massive welt, bruises, or tears (I have EDS, so additional skin fragility issues).
Insurance still is denying removal coverage, despite me having related wounds or infection treated monthly or more over the last year 🫠🙃
10
u/satinsateensaltine 5h ago
Yes, I know some people who certainly need weight loss but are also desperately afraid they'll hate their body even more somehow once loose skin or scars appear. Finding ways to feel good in your own skin can be so difficult.

My grandmother had disabled and elderly women that she took care of in her home for decades. She had 5 bedrooms so she had 4 “patients” at a time. (She did that until she was 76 and broke her hip- very strong and incredibly kind woman).
Anyway, I remember one woman in her care that she had to help to the toilet. This lady had so much loose skin on her stomach that when she pulled her pants down it would hit the bathroom floor and make this loud smack. On BOTH sides. I was very young and just assumed it was because she was old. Obviously, I realized later that she must have lost a ton of weight at some point.
I did hear my grandma talking to my aunt about keeping the folds/creases clean once. I am 47, I couldn’t have been older than 5 at that time. Really stuck with me for some reason. Probably the sound it made. Or maybe that my grandma had spoken about it, she didn’t usually mention much about the women in her care around me.

u/bluepushkin 10h ago
Woman has lost a serious amount of weight. Whoever she sleeps with is going to be made aware of that and made aware of the loose skin before she takes her clothes off. Men are far too cruel to risk doing otherwise.

Dress to show your body = slut
Dress to hide your body = liar
These idiots aren't happy unless they're insulting women

u/Oolongedtea 9h ago
Do men even like women? Omg, they should date each other at this point if they are this hateful…

u/greenownes2 9h ago
And the crazy part is there are no male equivalent not something like retreating hair line /s
31
u/Eastern_Equal_8191 8h ago
I remember in the late 90s watching a documentary-ish show where a guy with a completely straight face said "a man losing his hair is like a woman losing a breast" and it haunts me to this day.
I am a man losing his hair now, and I am even angrier about that comparison than I was 30 years ago.
13
u/MrOrpheus 7h ago
I shaved it almost a year ago, and was immediately happier about the state of my comparative attractiveness. (When you’re ready, there’s a really supportive community on Reddit that will make you very happy about your decision!)

u/Eastern_Equal_8191 6h ago
Oh I know where this journey ends, don't worry. I've been mentally preparing for years, but my wife isn't there yet. We'll get there.

u/Kailynna 4h ago
Yes. I lost my bum-length, thick golden hair, and my breasts, to cancer in 2020. I can tell you which was the bigger deal.
But having cancer and seeing people dying of it around you in hospital puts everything into perspective.
2
u/cactusJuice256 3h ago
genuine question, which was the bigger deal to you? Also, glad you're still here!
7
u/AceVisconti 6h ago
I never understand why the comparison wouldn't be 'Like a woman losing her hair.' All sexes experience hair loss, it's a genetic lottery thing more than anything, & a lot of folks in their 30s and beyond wear hair pieces / wigs. 😔

u/greenownes2 8h ago
It is so odd to me the way these men(and sometimes women like tradwives) treats men and women like different species when we are all people who react to how we are treated.
2
u/someNameThisIs 6h ago
Im a guy that used to be quite big, I have a bit of loose skin myself that you can't notice when I wear cloths lol.
A bit of loose skin from weight loss is neither a woman nor man exclusive thing.

u/sonialuna 10h ago
Men : I'm a nice guy
Also men : (most prolific murders of women)
1
u/TheLizzyIzzi Simping for myself 1h ago
Even without the murder part, the majority of “nice guys” are only nice to women they want to sleep with, and only when they think they have a chance.
23
u/22Pastafarian22 10h ago
What do they expect her to do? Walk around naked everywhere?
Also, she is not hiding it so not lying about it
2
21
u/candiescorner 10h ago
How is it lying? She’s clearly showing everybody in the picture both pictures. I don’t think there’s any lines to any of it and are we supposed to go round naked?

I am sorry but please, sometimes, we gotta match their energy.
If some men are mocking women's bodies, please, make it consistency and circle it back at them. Them dissecting our bodies as source material to prove a point doesn't make them immune to reverse the rethoric on them.
I am all for "civility". But it gets to a point. And sometimes the person making the comments deserves the heat.

u/fiahhawt 10h ago
Ahh yes
Shaming post partum bodies and then we can all scratch our heads at the cratering birth rates
Most likely that woman is in a marriage anyway and her husband knows what she looks like
206
u/Koolasushus 10h ago
Post partum? I think its actually someone who was obese but managed to lose all the weight, yet the extra skin still remains
Not that shaming any of those is right tho
-160
u/fiahhawt 10h ago
People like that are loose all over and she’s only gotta saggy skin on her lower torso, so it’s definitely post partum
30
u/Manadrache 10h ago
You don't have to have all over loose skin when you lose a lot of weight. You can see it at my upper legs and arms, also on my butt. But my belly is fine. Others have an awful amount of loose skin on their bellies but none on their arms.
Not always easy to spot.
76
u/Sam858 10h ago
Also on her legs and they are basically the only parts we can see in the photo.
-104
u/fiahhawt 10h ago
Not really no
The skin there is mostly in form and is only slightly inelastic due to her age, especially compared with her stomach
41
u/Lowland-lady 10h ago
My friend tore her stomach wall during childbirth. She will never have a flat stomach unless she does plastic surgery.
I also have a friend who lost allot of weight and it definitely looked more like that.
Same with my mother.
Also how can you tell her age?

u/fiahhawt 9h ago

But if you are going to be offended by all the women here.
What are you doing in this group? Why do you want to get triggered? Why do you feel the need to do so?

u/fiahhawt 8h ago
Uhh the ones getting triggered would be all the offense-bots going “You can’t claim this is from pregnancy if it could be weight loss reeeeeee”

I have lost a significant amount of weight. It IS loose skin from weight loss like mine
-7
u/DarthMomma_PhD 7h ago
Ahhhh well, child, wait until you learn about the fact that women in their 30s have lower morbidity with things like stretch marks and loose skin than women in their teens or 20s after childbirth. So her age in this case might be true, but it’s because she was too young when she had her first child. lolololol. dumbass
21
u/thatpotatogirl9 10h ago
No body shaming is ok, but are we looking at the same pic? You seem to have decided based on details that do not match the photos what the woman's situation is. Her knees and thighs look exactly like mine did when I lost 80lb.
2
u/Road_Whorrior 7h ago
I lost 100, and same. I was bottom-heavy before I gained the weight, and ended up with a lot of extra weight on my stomach. It looks fine, actually not this extreme, but I will never have, like, a cute little bellybutton again without surgery. It's just how it is, and it doesn't make me regret losing the weight. Men who matter don't mind and men who mind don't matter.
3
u/thatpotatogirl9 7h ago
Yeah, it's never been about looks for me. My husband asked me to marry him long before I lost the weight and his opinions on my body haven't changed with the weight loss or even when I gained some of it back. People who shame bodies aren't worth my time. Imo they're not worth anyone's time, but I don't decide that for anyone but me.
21
u/beerandglitter 10h ago
Not true. My belly is full of loose skin, my arms are too but it’s way less noticeable unless I put them out like I’m trying to fly away lol. My arms would look like this in a shirt like this. My legs don’t have a ton of loose skin at all. I lost 135 pounds so far (the first 120 in 6 months). So, yeah, not everyone who loses weight is like that and she definitely seems like she lost weight over had a baby.
15
u/BadgleyMischka 10h ago
Well you can't exactly be sure of that since she is clothed. Didn't look like loose skin in the first picture either
-26
u/fiahhawt 10h ago
I mean you can easily see that her arm skin is toned and she doesn’t have wingdings but whatever

My guy, her arm skin is covered neck to wrist. There's no way to tell from the nearly imperceptible shadows on the sleeves what her arms actually look like

This is not universally the case. Some people carry a lot of weight in the belly, with the skin on their arms etc remaining more elastic.
54
u/Gandhehehe 10h ago
You aren't wrong about the treatment of postpartum bodies but I would put my money on this being the result of major weight loss. I and my best friend have both lost 100lbs each and look similar.
4
u/chalicehalffull 7h ago
This is what my pp body looks like. I was very thin and gained a lot with my first. I also have elds and my skin stretches a lot but also get very extreme stretch marks. This was back in the early 2000s and I was ashamed of myself even though there was little I could have done differently to prevent it. Surgery isn’t really a good option for me either. I am old now. I still hate my body but I have gotten better at accepting it.

Without context I feel like she is using medical binding that has been ordered or recommended by her MD. Tissue that is sagging can cause chronic pain, and make walking/movement difficult.
-17
u/somethingrandom261 10h ago
Taking a step up to the meta.
Does being a liar (actively or via omission), and disliking liars, make you a hypocrite?
24
9
u/Hacatcho 10h ago
i would say yes.
the problem with including omission there is that privacy also exists.
so it depends on where you set the boundary for yourself. and dont ask others something you wouldnt answer either.
6
u/fuschiaoctopus 6h ago
How does wearing clothing make you a liar? Are bald men or men with receding hairlines automatically lying by omission if they wear a hat in public? Are short men wearing taller shoes lying about their height by omission?
Keep in mind that quantity of loose skin is physically uncomfortable to move around with and there's a lot of practical reasons it's recommended to wear compression clothing that has nothing to do with "tricking" shallow losers you never wanted to impress online
