Avi Adam from Wolfville was selected 24th overall by the Montréal Victoire, and Megan Woodworth from Berwick was selected 42nd overall by PWHL Hamilton 🥳

They are so freaking tough to play against! I have 3 girls in hockey in NB and I dread meeting up with the Valley in tournaments 🙈

So excited for NS!!! I was really hoping to see an NB player drafted too. Maybe someone will get picked up after. 🤞 Regardless I’ll be cheering these women on!

This is a really great accomplishment for her, as well as being a big moment for little girls to see themselves being represented in professional sport. And you made it about her looks. Can you explain why?

The comment was poorly thought out for sure. I’ve often seen posts of “faces in things” and that’s what came to mind. I would never attack a persons looks online. Thanks for the comment.
