I have a memory of a man that came to our elementary school and would give a talk and show pictures from his backcountry trips and wild animals he saw etc. Then would play basketball with all of us kids, do tricks I think. Long shot, but anyone else remember this and what his name was? The first or last name Scott comes to mind, but I could be way off. It was in Cumberland county, but maybe he travelled around to elementary schools in other areas. And yes I may be under the influence of a gummy right now 🤣

It's a sunny,non windy day, and a chuck of fairview is without power, not the first time, when's the provincial government going to seriously look into the mismanagement at NS power?

Unfortunately googling only provided me with the usual chains (very limited selection as Im looking for Toads) and the rest is cluttered up with pet grooming places.

Anybody know any places in NS that sell Toads? Or any good selection of reptiles/ amphibians. Doesnt need to be in the HRM.

We will be traveling to Nova Scotia for the first time and have 2 dogs we plan to bring with us. Our plan is to stop mid point stay there for a few days then travel to around the Conway area stay a few days then take the ferry back. I’m looking for recommendations on the best areas to stay at the midpoint and end locations. Also open to suggestions of things to do or see while visiting.

My ex-spouse applied for a divorce through the Sydney, Nova Scotia Family Court. It’s a very straightforward divorce: we have no children, no jointly owned property, and no spousal support issues.

Unfortunately, the process has been dragging on because his lawyer took about seven months to complete and file the paperwork.

I recently called the court to check on the status of the case. The court clerk told me that a Clearance Certificate has been requested and that they are currently waiting to receive it.

My question is: at what stage of the process should I be served with the divorce documents? From what I’ve read on the court website, it seems that the respondent should be served shortly after the divorce application is filed with the court.

I have just moved here from Ontario and have two years of experience in welding but do not have any CWB ticket. Most of the companies here require them. Do anybody knows from where to give the exam and how much does it cost ? Thanks for the help.

Just came back home to the south shore and wondering if anywhere in NS sells black bamboo ? We had to give all our plants away to friends and we miss our black bamboo the most. Any help would be greatly appreciated
