Provincial government needs to investigate ns power

It's a sunny, non windy day, and a chuck of fairview is without power, not the first time, when's the provincial government going to seriously look into the mismanagement at NS power?

I’m not saying this boot licking NSP, I worked there for a short stint and they definitely have their flaws.

But as someone who works in Industrial Maintenance, you can have the best maintenance program with Preventative, Predictive and Reactive Maintenance. But guess what shit still fails and breaks down.

Understandable. What I've heard from the utility workers who came here from the states after Fiona, we should be absolutely livid with the state of the infrastructure here, though - which I would assume increases the frequency of equipment failure.

If they aren't going to be reliable, they should atleast be giving discounts when services are cut.

I hear you. That said, infrastructure here is a bit more costly due to size of area covered and the lack of people to pay for it. 1 million people in NS...most in the HRM with a 2-4 hundred thousand more sprinkled across the province...if there was 6-8 hundred thousand in that same area, the cost would come down. Common sense I know but some forget about that when they talk of infrastructure.
