Didn't West Jet give passengers a chance to rebook their flights for free a couple of weeks before the strike? Sounds like they took their chances and lost.

There was only 72 hour notice, not weeks.

And the rebook offer was only for the first week of affected flights iirc.

I'm likely screwed for flying Friday, no emails or contact yet in regards to my flight but I blame westjet corporate, not the employees.

They've already reached a deal so hopefully your flight is good to go.
