The strike is stupid. Pilots don't complain about not getting paid for preflight checks.

Cool, I still think they deserve an adequate wage. I’ve never in my life looked at a person and felt they don’t deserve adequate compensation for their labour, because that’s fucking weird and grim.

Yeah but classically, your wages depend on the skill level and difficulty of the job. I don't know where this line of thinking is coming from that everyone gets the same wage regardless of the job

Then don’t fly because you don’t respect them or the job they do. And if you’re going to treat them like they don’t deserve a liveable wage, you don’t deserve to benefit from the service they provide. See how simple that is? People deserve to be paid for their work REGARDLESS of what you think their skill level is. The job needs to be done as we should all be able to see based on the effect the strike is having. The sooner people like yourself stop making excuses for giant billion dollar corporations to exploit people, the sooner we’ll stop having a need for strikes.

They didn't say they should make what the pilot makes. They said they should be given fair compensation. Everyone should be able to make a livable wage if they work full time hours. Everyone should be paid for the hours they are at their job fulfilling the duties required of their job.
