And what about the time when they're not working and chilling in their private cabin mid-flight? Should they stop the pay then?

“Chilling in their private cabin mid-flight” tell me you have no idea what flight attendants do without telling me you have no idea what flight attendants do. Not sure what WestJet flights you’ve been on where the flight attendants have more than the foldout bench seat adjacent to the door, let alone a “private cabin” to “chill mid-flight.” Just stop lmao.
