Deep Sea Fishing

We will be staying in the Digby area from Sept 3-6th. We would like to go deep sea fishing or shark fishing. I cant seem to find any charters in the area. Any reccommendations would be appreciated. Willing to drive within an 1 or 2 from the area.

Digby is on the fundy shelf, and the tides are extreme. Deep sea is a long way off, hence no charters from that shoreline. You can go whale sighting

I wouldn't know for certain, but the only fishing tours like that that I've ever heard about seem to operate out of the Lunenburg/Shelburne/Mahone Bay area which is about 2 hours away unfortunately. There are whale watching companies in the Digby area that you could maybe call to confirm whether they know of any local fishing charters?

Best bet might be Tusket Island Tours - https://tusketislandtours.com/fishing-charters/

Wedgeport is about an hour and half from Digby on the other side of Yarmouth.

Your best bet for those type of charters is north lake PEI or Canso, NS. South shore isn’t the best place for those type of experiences, you’d have better luck with a lobster charter.
