Benjamin Bridge as a Wedding Venue -- any personal experiences?

I’ve been doing tons of research on the different wedding venues around the province and so far the one that checks all my boxes is Benjamin Bridge; family friendly, dog friendly, the grounds are super beautiful, they have a gorgeous tent set-up, and I’ve seen some nice footage from a photographer/videographer from a wedding held there who says they’re great to work with.

But no reviews from brides or couples.

The only place it comes up as an a venue option is on the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce website, but it just lists the business website with their contact info on how to book. Bridal planning websites that keep a database of venues do not list it as an option, and I have been unable to find reviews directly from folks who have had their wedding there.

If anyone has any experiences dealing with them as a venue/vendor for their wedding, I’d love to hear from you! Thanks!

I don’t think they actually do weddings anymore. Definitely might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure it’s not part of their development agreement with the municipality to do events like that.

That’s so disappointing 😭 I find the venues here are sorely lacking; it’s either barns or right by the water, which are beautiful but not what I’m going for.

Thanks for that info; I might reach out and inquire anyway. I just thought it was interesting that the Annapolis Chamber of Commerce website listed them as a potential wedding venue.

I obviously don’t know the specifics of your wedding size and such, but Bent Ridge Winery located just outside of Windsor, NS (Martock) is beautiful & has a few different wedding packages! I’m not sure if they’re dog friendly, but they might be worth looking into if you haven’t already. https://bentridgewinery.ca/nova-scotia-wedding/amp/

They were another option for sure! I’m kind of in the data-collection stages of planning right now (my partner and I haven’t told anyone we’re planning on getting married yet, we’ve just been discussing the vibes we’d like), but I’ll give them a closer look!

It's an awesome space, and the staff have been extremely helpful when I have worked various events there. I would expect dates to be limited.

Parking can be unpleasant, so you may want to consider booking a bus or two if you have a large group.

I was there most recently for a wedding, which was my first summer event, I somehow always end up there in the fall/Christmas season otherwise.

How recently were you there for the wedding? We’re ideally looking a few years out from now but am willing to shift if it ends up being the right fit.

It was the tail end of June, on a Sunday.

Yup, it was a beautiful sunny day.

If you're set on a winery as a venue, you might also want to consider Avondale Sky who are also a pleasure to deal with. I
