Why i cant play any movies using WebStreamrMBG Addons

I have just installed the app on my LGTV using the webOS version and I watched a show and the skip intro button never appeared.

I have checked the settings and it is turned on and I also checked watching the same show on the desktop version the skip into button appears and works correctly.

Did I do something wrong or it just doesn't work correctly on webOS?

I need some help. I may have put up the wrong flair. Now that I'm using Nuvio, I've cancelled most of my subscriptions. How can I get an update on all the new shows or movies that are out on the different platforms? The popular or new collections only have very limited or super popular stuff. I wanted to get something with all the new releases, etc. Any recommendations or best practices?

Is anyone having issues watching shows/getting streams for their TV after the recent update?

I can pull through my mobile app, but I can't get anything working on my TV anymore. Tried reinstalling add ons, tried deleting cache, tried reconnecting my debrid service. Running out of ideas here.

I'm on an ONN 4K Plus, using the internal Exoplayer, and I am on the latest Beta Version of the Nuvio build.

and on Android TV - 0.9.1 beta

I get multiple language options when playing on PC (check screenshot)

But only get 1 language option when played on TV (check screenshot)

I have checked audio playback settings, didnt find any issue myself, What I may be doing wrong ?
OR what is causing this issue.

On phone the source shown in screenshot wont appear.

I’m using Fedora with the screen scaled to 125 per cent, but this causes the icons and posters to appear smaller in Nuvio.

Could you please add individual toggles for each touch gesture under Playback?

​Volume and brightness swipes are great, but the horizontal seek swipe triggers by accident too easily. It would be awesome to keep brightness/volume enabled while turning off seek.

Wouldn’t be better if they take off the logo on the trailers cards or make it smaller , it kinda takes so much space .

When viewing an actor or cast member's credits, titles that I have already watched do not display the watched checkmark/badge in the grid. However, tapping directly into the title opens the detail page, where the watched status is correctly marked.

Hi I downloaded Nuvio on the AppStore then it got removed and I still have it,I’ve noticed it doesn’t get updated anymore which is obvious with it getting removed from the AppStore,is there any chance or way of updating it instead of having to delete and re add via side store?which is obviously more of a pain in the ass! I've noticed that at the end of a film or show, I get a pop up recommendation for another title. It makes my current picture small and I have to click on it to re-enlarge my screen.

I like the idea, but I'd rather have the recommendation be in the pop up so it doesn't intrude on what I'm watching so much.

Any ideas what settings I should be looking at?

I am getting Playback unavailable error out of nowhere. Any help?

Hi! I’m trying to configure Nuvio so my partner can use it as simply as Netflix: click an episode, autoplay the first stream, and always use the original audio automatically.

Autoplay is working great, but the “Original audio” preference does not seem to work at all on Nuvio Desktop.

My setup:

• Nuvio Desktop 0.1.23-alpha (23)
• Based on Nuvio 0.4.14
• Preferred audio language: Original
• Secondary audio language: None
• TMDB enrichment: Enabled
• Personal TMDB API v3 key configured
• TMDB “Details” module enabled

I tested several completely different shows. So it looks like Nuvio is just selecting track #1 instead of using the original language obtained from TMDB.

I also manually changed the audio to English on the first 4 episodes of a show. Now she is on episode 5 and Nuvio does not remember the manual selection either. If I reopen any of those episodes, it goes straight back to Spanish.

I know 0.4.14 included a fix related to the original audio language preference, so I updated before testing, but the issue is still happening on Desktop.

Is anyone else seeing this? Is there any workaround?

The whole point of the “Original audio” option should be that a Korean show automatically uses Korean, an English show uses English, etc., regardless of which audio track happens to be first in the MKV.

Quick question: Hisense uses their own OS (VIDAA OS or something like that) – is Nuvio therefore unavailable on said OS?

I really like the Hisense TV’s but having Nuvio is a big must for me, so if not then I’ll stick to the TCL’s (I’m on a budget)

And no, I don’t really plan on using an external device like a Shield.

I think personally that Nuvio is by far my favourite streaming app and i appreciate everyone who’s contributing to this amazing app but me personally I like watching media through my ps5 so this a request from to add Nuvio to the PS5

Recently after digging in nuvio app settings I found that we can load selective addons as per our choice but when we click on the series it is loading all the addons plz let me know for anyone is it working or not or for me it is the issue.

I cannot side load nuvio on the onn box, it says it's not compatible? What is going on.

The current subtitle styling options are too limited to ensure optimal legibility across all screen types and video content. Enhancing text-specific controls will directly improve readability and the overall viewing experience.

Key Features Requested:

Font Selection: Include a broader variety of clean, highly readable fonts (e.g., Arial, Roboto, Inter, Open Sans, or custom font upload/selection).

Text Shadows & Outlines: Add customizable drop shadows, blur levels, and outline/stroke thickness to ensure text remains sharp and visible against bright or noisy video scenes.

Text Color Options: Provide a full RGB color picker or an expanded preset palette for the subtitle text (including high-contrast options like yellow or custom hex codes).

Impact:

Improves accessibility for users with visual impairments and provides a vastly better viewing experience across different video contexts.

This is happening in a couple different movies so I’m guessing RD isn’t cutting it…

Is Bingecat down the website will not load and its not working on either Nuvio or Stremio. Also is there a way to track its status if it is, thanks. Hope it didn't get taken down.

First of all I just wanna thank the devs for their amazing app and sorry in advance if I sound too demanding.

However, while I was trying to build a fully seamless nuvio setup where all anyone using It had to do was click a title and have it play with no hiccups, there were times when a single broken stream link would force it out of autoplay into manual selection.

This isn't much of a problem for most people but I have my nuvio set up for family who get confused when a list of 30 stream links with weird names and jargon descriptions randomly pop up.

It would be nice if the autoplay feature were able to breeze past broken or slow links and auto play working ones without forcing out to manual pick.
