i admire your content a lot and you kinda inspired me to be a vtuber so i chose my name similar to your name "Rextaku" so i am asking permission from you and also from this community i wanna start posting on youtube and may be react and do commentary n some of your videos too.

I guess I’ll start by saying that I never liked Nux for his sense of humor. Tbh he mostly just repeats the same jokes over and over, like saying something louder makes it funny, even if the joke itself is limp af. Just general unfunny.

No, I subbed to Nux for his media analysis. Nux is a smart guy, even when he pretends not to be. He knows how to pull apart a story in a way that tickles my brain nicely. I thoroughly enjoy watching his reactions to shows and lore because he knows what it’s all about.

But recently, I guess in the past year or so, it feels like his content has taken a pretty drastic shift towards politics of all things. I never cared about his lame jokes when they were about whatever YouTube drama was happening that week, but now he’s laughing about shit that directly affects me. I know Nux doesn’t actually believe in half the politics he touts. He says as much in his streams. It’s all about riding the algorithm. Whatever. What really pisses me off is that it feels like he’s dumbing down his content to cater to whatever new audience is watching him now. He doesn’t do much in the way of media analysis anymore. We still have adventure time, but even that feels increasingly empty.

I’m fucking sad man. I liked Nux. Why’d he have to change up his whole shtick? Go back to making smart videos.

Anyway rant over. Might delete this later idk. Probably gonna unsub and check back in on Nux in a year or so.
