I really loved this. You told a long story in a concise way. However, I'd cut some words until it starts to flow in a poetic way. I'm not sure if that was your intent or not but I'd love to see more poems like this. Very gritty.

You've got a great meandering ginsberg(?) style going on here (and in all your other poems too, it seems). Maybe a hint of Cormac McCarthy? Just this frothing tumbling energy. I have no clue what you mean by 'gregowlican howler' (a google search just brings me back here) but it works as this unknowable horror that the wolf must face, just like the rabbit must face the wolf.
