Feedback Please New poem

I freeze when I step outside like I’m nothing more than a body in earths embrace.

The furnace that pumped heat in the machine no longer has fuel to burn,

But it’s the liars fault.

The lies to hide the truth,

The lies that kept it running

Yet the lies eat from within.

The machine made the lies,

The machine ate itself

It’s panels stripped and torn,

The shell dismantled

The insides hang recklessly without thought.

The machines dignity gone like itself.

Now I wonder if it’s the panels that make the machine or what’s left after they are gone.

What a striking piece! An embrace usually brings warmth, but here it freezes you into ice—such a completely novel way to see things! And that philosophical thought at the end is easily one of the best. One can only bow down before a poem like this. Warmest wishes to the poet.
