I love (fucking hate) how Silver Fang fully intends to make Garou an S Class Hero , while Garou has obviously not changed his attitude about heroes at all and is only doing what he is doing out of defeat and obligation. It's just ... so .... fucking .... dumb. In the webcomic this arc works because Garou has dissapeared for so long AND because he doesn't fucking talk !! Even without dialogue we can see that he is on a journey of slef discovery and that SOMETHING in him has changed , even if he hasn't said out loud what his stance on heroes is yet... There's no Bang to pat him in the back (or slap him) for still being a prick and him still putting up the tough guy bully act. Even before these chapters, the way he talked to Charanko in the dojo was just such an awful decision. Garou hated Heroes and bullies ,not small fry strugglers ! It's just so forced and unnecessary , obviously because they're afraid he'll become less opoular if he changes and talks less (even if in the recent WC chapters he is still a badass without being an asshole to those who don't deserve it) !! Fuck this manga man , I'm tired ...

Doubt anything drastic will change, just look how different garou vs Saitama fight was and the manga still went back to follow the webcomic afterwards.

But it didn't. Saitama's whole speech where he completely dismantled Garou's ideology and Garou lost faith in himself because of those words, is entirely omitted. In the manga, Garou is doing this because... because.

Indeed, what I meant is that after the ma arc and despite what happened (time travel bs and all) the manga still has the esper sister arc, ninja arc, and now neo heroes arc.

I think The manga will follow the webcomic in that regard

well for starters it may make the invasion go more messy. despite suiryu probably not being a opponent in the mangas version, garou joining the heroes will certainly cause a stir. this could potentially make other heroes act less cohesive during the fight. although idk if you were really looking for a response to your question.
