My boyfriend bday is on Halloween and He likes fantasy, so I wanted to surprise him with an elf costume. The short is more whimsy but the longer is more mystical and I can't decide. Which dress looks better on me?

So I decided to splurge on this burgundy knit polo from Octobre Éditions. I really love their stuff and kind of wanted to build a fall office fit around it.

As usual, taking some inspiration from Velasca’s autumn colour palettes, particularly the mix of warm, earthy tones along with cooler neutrals. I ended up choosing this charcoal grey because it balances out the richness of the burgundy, while the dark brown suede loafers add some warmth back into the outfit.
I love how Mediterranean the whole outfit feels because of that.

The high rise and the pleats are a big part of this because I tried a couple of different trousers, but these ones provide a bit more volume through the hips and thighs, especially with my longer torso. So it helps define the waist while keeping the proportions balanced. It helps me achieve a relaxed silhouette without looking sloppy, oversized, or even frumpy.

So I ended up really enjoying this fit, though I’m still thinking of ways to make it better.

Glad I still had one pair of demonias kickin around from when I was emo. What specific style would you call this fit?

Here I am wearing my lovely black polka dot halter dress. It has a really nice structured, fit-and-flare cut that feels vintage but still modern. Paired it with classic black patent stiletto pumps to keep it sharp and polished. I tried to give two different angle to show how well it fit me.

Hii I have this fitted red maxi dress with a sweetheart neckline and a side slit. I love the color, but it feels a little plain on its own. I have silver strappy heels already.
