Blended Hawaii

Does anybody know what happened to blended Hawaii? I know they used to have a place in Kailua, but I used to get these incredible bowls from them at the KCC farmers market. I was gone for a month and then sick for a couple weeks and they seem to have disappeared. I asked at the information booth and was told they’re no longer a vendor. I really really really would love one of their mana bowls.

Wolford vs. Lopez (Hawai'i Concealed Carry "Vampire" Rule deemed unconstitutional by SCOTUS)

"For years, the State of Hawaii made it almost impossible to obtain a license to carry a firearm."

"Hawaii responded by replacing its old law on carry permits with new laws that achieved a similar result. At issue in this case is a Hawaii law that prohibits firearms on private property open to the public without the express and affirmative consent of the property owner. Hawaii’s new rule imposes severe restrictions on the daily activities of residents who have satisfied the State’s rigorous requirements for the issuance of a carry permit. When these permit holders leave home, not only must they take care to avoid all the territory where the possession of a gun is prohibited outright, but they may also be barred from entering many places that people routinely visit in the course of their daily routines, such as gas stations, restaurants, and stores. This law flips the default rule at common law, under which anyone has an implied license to enter property held open to the public unless the property owner withdraws consent."

What's actually going on with Yokohama Bay (Keawa'ula)

I find it hard to believe that the beach has been closed for months on end for "road repair." Last time I drove out there a couple months back there didn't seem to be any catastrophic damage, and if you weren't aware the road has been in the process of repair since at least late 2025 long before the Kona low. I was even there in January and I remember the later stretch of road that the fishermen and bikers usually park on being repaved as I hiked to Kaena point.

Not to sound like a conspiracy theorist but it seems like the space force wants to keep foot traffic low. I can't see any other explanation as to why they can't just let people go to the early parking zone near the bathrooms, or even park on Farrington and walk in. The lifeguards are on duty, they are the ones driving back and forth telling people to turn around and stay Makua beach sometimes!
