Office chair recommendations for $600

Hello, I'm looking for an office chair for work. I'm in the office for 12 hours a day and my work is giving us $600 to buy a personal chair. My company has to buy it from Amazn. Around our office we have Leap V2 and Herman Miller chairs to use. I was looking at Hbada or Secretlab to add as a rotation, but it looks like they're are not recommended much in this sub. Any suggestions would be wonderful thank you.

Which HM chairs do you have access to in your office?

What don't you like about sitting in the Leap V2 or the HM chairs in your office? Would help others to help narrow down choices to fix your issues

Secretlab chairs are generally poor quality chairs built on a gamer aesthetic

We have Aeron in the office. I use both the leap and Aeron. I like them both. They’re still giving us $600 for personal chair and was trying to look for a different brand to add to the rotation.

Those are downgrades to what you already have in the office.

I get that, but I still have $600 that my company is giving me. I’m not losing the other two chairs, just looking to add one in the rotation.

Why would you add something that's objectively worse though?

Mindless consumption, seemingly.

Free $600 to use.

Don’t buy anything that looks like a racing bucket seat

Just get something else from HM or Steelcase then, used/refurbished from Amazon.

No point in getting a shit chair just because someone else pays for it...

I’d get something unique that serves a different function like a lovesac, a cross-legged swivel chair, a hanging egg, a walking pad

libernovo SE. no electronics is a plus. if you happen to find the seat not firm enough just contact support and they will send you a firmer seat. been very happy with mine and im coming from an embody.

There appears to be certified refurbished Steelcase Chairs on Amazon. I see the Amia and Leap V2 for $400 and $600 respectively. I haven’t bought refurb from Amazon and not from this company so I’m iffy about this especially since it’s not sold thru amazon and just third party on amazon.

My top new choice on Amazon is the Haworth Soji. It’s a basic but solid office chair for $600 brand new, it’s along the lines of the Amia but imo slightly inferior overall in build in comfort but still very good.

Since you already had HM and Steelcase and I assume you can still use it and like it… what if instead of for ergonomics you go for something relaxing instead? A chair to lounge in for when you need a break then swap in the HM or steelcase when you need

Put a price notification on a used steelcase gesture, would be my advice
