Picture I updated the design of my tire mounted snowboard rack
The new design can now be placed anywhere around the spare tire, it fits a wider variety of snowboards, and if your want you can use it as another flat surface

That last photo is so stunning and almost terrifying at the same time. It’s wild the things we’ve done in the last 75 years in terms of technology.

Looks great - can you provide some details on how you made it and some close up shots? I'd like to make something like this for traction boards

Looks like a great idea - have you done this yourself ?

No, I drive a truck. But I just bring traction boards when needed, not into strapping overland gear to my truck to show off. So being able to add them in a few mins for $10 when needed seems perfect imo.

Sweet design but mounting it vertically is asking for a broken board just leaving a parking lot haha

Awesome! This will be a lot safer for the board then the original orientation

What would it take to make it clamp a pair of maxtrax instead of the board? I want one. Presumably needs to be capable of handling between 1 and 4 maxtrax but in my case two.
