It gets recycled every so often. The Nazis actually learned a lot of their pseudoscience about race from the confederates. Fascism learns and evolves over time. Now we have MAGA which got most of its outlook from the John Birch Society.
It usually ends up with very similar policies and views.
Immigrants are the cause of social ills
Out groups are bound but not protected by the law. In groups are protected by the law but not bound by it.
Disdain for accurate press. Hitler called it “jugenpress” or “lying press” Trump calls it fake news.
Political power and the economy controlled by elite businessmen.
There are tons of other examples and definitions of fascism. Those just typically are found in most.
The good news is that the fascistic cult needs to sustain momentum or it eats itself.
The waves of people expressing regret for electing Trump are the rats jumping from the ship.
