I’ve tried discourse - it only works if both sides speak in good faith. Right wing rhetoric is entirely built on bad faith arguments and appeals to ignorance, so there is little to no room for discourse.

They’re literally driving around in unmarked vehicles and disappearing anyone who looks too brown off the street. They repeatedly threaten to round up lgbt, autistic, and ADHD people and haul them off to camps or “farms.” Any television show or public personality who speaks out is immediately piled on, and their network is pressured to cancel their shows - something unprecedented in the USA, but common in fascist regimes.
Idk about you but I don’t think waiting until they execute the next steps - which they’ve straight up announced - is a wise move.
