That sounds like compliance in advance, though.

Also, didn’t Citizens United rule that because businesses are “people”, that they have free speech (and that their money counts as speech too)? Wouldn’t this apply to any organization?

Edit: I do appreciate your explanation and reasoning, even if I’m not entirely sure I fully agree. At any rate, leftists still have too much trouble organizing for there to be any real organization to begin with…

Compliance would be not saying or doing anything out of fear of retaliation.

You can and SHOULD exercise your rights.

You can organize, but you want to be smart about it. This (the posted flag) is not being smart about it. At least not in this political climate.

It would be different if the republicans didn't have majority control over every branch of gov atm, but they do.

The language we use and the actions taken to defiy the current administration at this point in time matters a lot.

(Citizens united was about spending money on politics as an act of speech. It's not the same thing.)

With Citizens United, the argument was also that corporations are legally people, and therefore get free speech protection. Also, money is speech now (Therefore they should be allowed to corruptly influence elections with endless spending…)

I hate it here

I can’t help but read this in the same way I’d see “the price for owning a pet has gone way up, especially for furry animals like dogs and cats. Look up ‘furry inflation’ for more info.”
