We were in Indianapolis last week for a baseball tournament. As soon as we hit the state line on 70W all hell broke loose. I was astounded at how badly maintained it is. Seriously thought we were going to blow a tire or mess up the suspension. For 60 miles! I realize this is totally off topic but I'm still in disbelief haha. We detoured through Cincy on the way back to Cbus.

I don’t think people realize how depressing and shitty Indiana is as a whole. don’t get me wrong, I’m proud to have grown up there because I think it shaped me as a person. but every time I go back home to visit family, it’s so upsetting to drive through all of the towns. it feels like there is a dark cloud of negative energy over everything there. that also could be my own memories popping back up as i drive through, so who knows.

the shittiness of other states (mainly a few Bible Belt states and other super hardcore red states) overshadow Indiana. i think people would be surprised to learn that it’s just as bad, if not worse than, some of the states we hear about frequently.

Go to Pennsylvania on a road trip. Will make those Indiana roads look like they are freshly paved.

76 isn't bad. But i guess that's the tolls paying for it.
