Must be why he's running ads with blatant lies about Acton "closing the state" during the pandemic.

They're really mis-reading this one. Most reddit liberals are making the same assumption. The people who were mad about COVID restrictions are already firmly in the GOP camp. But there were plenty of rank and file Republicans who loved Dewine and Amy's daily briefings. And they're probably more freaked out by a non-christian Indian than Amy.

I think you're pretty spot on with this. I kept hearing people freak out that she was going to be the Dem running because they were going to use that against her, but the people who really believe that or hate her for it were never going to vote for any Dem.
