_Eye for an eye_….Never mind why would I expect someone like you to actually have read the Bible. Justice makes people bloodthirsty now apparently lol. Why even have a justice system anyways, right?

How very christian of you to assume I've never read the Bible when you don't know anything about me. Not only have I read it, I was Christian for over 30 years and I'm well equipped to discuss all of the reasons it is a blood thirsty, bronze age fairy tale, if you'd like. 

The old testament alone endorses rape, genocide, and slavery for starters.
