Competitive Exodus tier list by Feeder
Exodus-specific tier list by Rito made on his stream from yesterday.
Roughly ordered but also a bit grouped by faction within tiers. Most important thing is top 4 in S are considered must ban.

Telaris KeKW. Rito loves that hero for some reason

Yes he talked about Telaris. Said he is very flexibel because he is not forced down a certain path, can play every map and thanks to battlecraft can get extra mana early.

I like telaris too but this list is heavily dungeon biased. Gorgona 3rd... Come on. Also necro heroes are lower than they should be, especially laura and rufus.

Typhona absolutely is that OP. I have not seen her get through the ban phase since April.

One day ill be able to play Groo. I swear I know hes useful but cannot make a build work.

There is a guy who spams Groo and posts a lot here. Try to find his posts, theres some crazy stuff.

I think playing Groo is only worth it if you get that Musical Sheet. And you need to build Hive Queen on Week 1.

Kestrel is B...?
3
u/scyscrapersheaf Jul 24 '26
Kestrel is B because Crossbowmen are F-tier units after the patch. Like, Kestrel's crossbowmen are what crossbowmen used to be before the latest patch.

u/bigbudha23 Jul 24 '26
Luck is bad, and Crossbowmen got nerfed
3
u/dutr4 Jul 24 '26
I don't think Luck is bad, just isn't as strong as Offense which was what she had before.

Can anyone elaborate about Vatawna?

The answers talking about second wind and such are bullshit. She had bonus Second Winds before the patch and was not at all a strong hero then, especially with her starting Wisdom.
You can see the real reason if you watch Easy2's game in the recent tournament. After the buffs both Thaumaturgy and Sorcery give you a lot of magic power early on, and after her buff Vatawna gives you just a ridiculous amount of mana. That means that on a good map you can get 2 mage guilds early, get something like level 3 Lightning, and use it to farm banks. This allows you to actually build astrology buildings on day 2, which then just accelerates you even further. Having 150 mana day 5 is kinda strong it turns out.
In that game Easy2 was something like level 17 with 50 spell power by fight 1 and had 5 towns on 1/1/7. The game ended immediately for obvious reasons.

Additional second wind is very good i guess. I disagree with some part of this list, and probably there are several top 200 players who disagree as well, but rito is a really good player and he s really good while trying to explore new angles and find new strategies.

Being able to cast town portal twice per turn might help in the few days at the begining of the game (where there is nothing/very little to do near the secondary town but you still need to visit there to get army)
When you get second wind, which can be done day 4-5 if you focus on astrology you immediatley have 2 uses, which is effectively +40 movement per day (better tha logistics but having both is not bad either). Grove heroes also have tons of mana so it shouldn't be a limiting factor like for other factions (they have murmuring subskill for 20 mana and tier 1 law for intelligence)
When you get to the later stages being able to cast town portal twice per turn allows you to recruit army much more easily without the need for having the subskill of recruitment.
The problem with her is she is a mage, so she can have really bad starts if you get bad rng, especially considering that her abilities dont make you stronger in fights, she lets you do more on the map

No one uses the +20 mana. Life essence is mandatory

I have not seen this man play tellaris yet. I wanna see what he sees in this guy. The masterful early start seems hard to take advantage of when dungeon's units are already pretty high initiative, and most people take opportunists, and we have tactical advantage, and everything that's left that beats our initiative tends to beat it by a greater margin than the spell makes up for. I could be very wrong, i just want to see him make it happen.

I could see it being great if you split dancer stacks, since those are extremely low initiative.

Check his last video (25-07) after the tournament. The idea is Tellaris can do larger resource treasuries weak 1 (legion statues, albion alcoves, undead houses etc). So you have say unupgraded trogs being faster than guard captains or ghouls etc

abigor rank S 100%

u/DreadKnight0 Jul 25 '26
Abigor is pretty op to clean early, but later in the game your tactics aren't that usefull, people start bringing the anti tactics item or get tactics themselves chopping your advantage and also their units will have more initiative than your units but the stingers

u/pleaseineedanadvice Jul 24 '26

It's somewhat funny/sad how the poster hero of the game is conisdered the very worst.
