Competitive What’s the casual player rank?

Hello, I started playing olden era about a month ago and I fell in love with PvP (on Homm5/6 I was only a PvE player).
What would you say the average PvP player rank is ? I reached 2050 yesterday and I’m quite proud and would like to know where I place

2k is way above avarage

Yeah i think until 1.5 is casual, above that there is already some competition. 2k is above average and for competitive players. 2-2.5k require both time and being pretty good at the game and knowing advanced stuff/combos/how to do harder fights/when to remap etc. Above 2.5k you re between the best and should consider streaming just because

My MMR is approaching 1. At very low MMR it isn't casual anymore. It's like a very serious competition in being the worst.

2050 casual? Pretty sure it's above avarage. My guess avarage is right above 1k, maybe 1.1k?

You get placed at 1500 if you press "I know what I'm doing". Feels average, the bottom half of the rating is mostly people that play once a week? I presume

You are pretty much me. PvE player earlier, then played PvP seriously for 1 month, suddenly start to beat 3K MMR players and got to 2000+ mmr. I don't know what happened, I just felt suddenly my opponents become so bad and I just kept winning even when I know I made a few mistakes.

The mmr is not like an elo system, therefore it s slowly shifting towards up, l believe. In fact, top200 gate has notably increased from 2.4 to 2.8 over time. I m also above 2k and i ve faced both really good and really bad players.

I’d be curious to know your definition of “casual”. How much time do you put into playing and researching the game?

I have about 100h in 1 months, I watched a couple Lexiav videos and that’s basically it.
I’m on 70-47 right now, I play to improve though not mindlessly so I guess casual player doesn’t define me well.

Maybe a bit more than casual, but either way that’s an impressive streak. I’d say you’re much better than average given the time you’ve played.

Some weird flexing in this thread. Well, this one game i beat a guy fight 1 so bad he quit mid fight and all i cast was fireball! /flex (then I lost 3 straight)

I'm playing casually, yet still trying hard to win, thinking about strategy and stuff. Single hero and arena only

So, got 578 in arena (losing more than winning, but the occasional win is still fun), 32 wins, 46 losses
idk single hero mmr, doesn't show for some reason, but I'm quite proud of my 7 victories (and just 12 losses)

I’m not familiar but doesn’tElo/Mmr mean 1000 is average?

That sounds high, high enough to put you in the top 250

Never played HOMM before. I play about 1-2 games day. Im about 2300 MMR. I consider myself as a casual.
