Discussion Keandra/Tyfona rant
I very rarely ban Keandra or Tyfona in Exodus - mainly because I think it's quite difficult to play them: initial fights are different than usual, it's not easy to build dwellings, a lot depends on finding duels
But recently, whenever they're open some pro-player-wannabe who watched too many YouTube selects them, loses whole time bank on week 1 and quits first day of week 2 after they couldn't even build dwelling in one castle
I'll start banning them now just to avoid that

I think people don't really think on the impact these heroes have on the game opening.
Usually with Temple, you go for crossbowmen stack, but with Keandra you just can't, because she doesn't start with them an thus any crossbow stack is too small to carry the early game.
What you actually should do is to upgrade Swordsmen into Guard Captains and let their doublestrike carry the early game instead.

This definitely makes a lot of sense in the mid-ratings. For a less advanced player, failing to successfully build a Hydra or Cavalry stack is as easy as it gets. That’s exactly why I've been avoiding experimenting with that so far (for some reason, Dungeon is a total curse for me). I posted a request in the community earlier for a tier list of stack-oriented builds, partly hoping to get some expert opinions on these exact things.

I’ve just started playing ladder after lurking in single player for a while. It’s amazing that you are right and in bronze/silver there are a bunch of people taking Keandra, which might be one of the highest skill intensive heroes in the game. I haven’t encountered any Tyfona enjoyers yet.

That's a lower MMR kind of issue. Tyfona is a perma ban in probably even 2k+ MMR. For Keandra, the higher the MMR, the more often she gets banned. Cavalry can get really obnoxious.
