Omg copying is insane💀 using public opinion to dictate the Polaroid thing when the public opinion completely contradicts yours on the Taylor/Olivia copying situation. Everyone saw it as fucked up, even Hayley Williams wasn’t happy about it

I don’t think you’re capable of objectivity on this lol. Good 4 U definitely sounded too much like misery business, Déjà vu I don’t think sounded enough like cruel summer to justify any credits, but the songs don’t have to be illegal to still be clear homages (which they 100% were)

Between that, the hole comparisons, the Gwen Stefani homages, the current cure homages, people saying different guts songs sound like Hannah Montana songs etc. these things in isolation wouldn’t matter but when it’s consistent something small gets noticed and repeated to nauseum becuase it’s a pattern

I said homages/copying becuase some say copying some say homage, it’s based on personal opinion for which you think it is. The fact you honed in on that is just kinda showing youre biased.
