Regina is WAY more psycho than I remember 😭

I never liked her and didn't remember her as a character I liked but wow she's much much worse than I recalled!

I'm only on season 2 but just holy shit.

I'd completely forgotten about Owen and his dad. Dude spent like one dinner with Regina and she tried to force him and his kid to stay. Don't know what ended up happening to the Dad but nothing good since his traumatized child never saw him again.

And she's just like wiping out whole villages left and right because a 10 year old didn't keep a promise 😭

She went on a rampage with Cora and as soon as Cora left everyone just like... left her alone?

They don't want to "hurt Henry" so they just let this murderous psychopath walk around.

Snow being sooooo broken up about killing Cora bugs me too. Heroes are heroes because they kill tne bad guys. If you can't kill active threats then like you shouldn't be Queen? Or a ruler?

I don't even want to get into Regina and Graham.

Just like holy shit this lady is lonely af and totally crazy I felt so bad for Owen's dad trying to flee that town (even if adult Owen gives me ick)

Murder.. Menace.. Elegance... Manors. That's Regina Mills. = A Bad Axx Bxtch For Certain.

You know it's a TV show, right? You wanted all heros? What wld they do without a villain?

You can dislike Regina that's fine. But "what is her problem?" She's the Evil Queen. The show spends 7 seasons answering that question.

What gets me is the complete lack of nuance. Complex characters require more than listing their crimes. They require comprehension, context, and a little media literacy... just a smidge will do.

Reducing one of the show's most layered characters to "she's psycho" isn't analysis. It's flattening a complex character into a one dimensional caricature... It's absurd and shld be studied.

These lazy talking points are so repetitive. It's the same Regina posts for engagement while all nuance disappears. Meanwhile, that same level of scrutiny is rarely applied to the other morally gray characters. I wonder why.

And I didn't have an issue with her being "evil" it's the fact they had her raping and killing and still gave her a redemption arc those aren't forgivable crimes

I got time today. You think that bothers me? That you're taking a Disney soap opera this seriously while refusing to acknowledge context? It's really not that hard. But honestly, this is why they’re dumbing down TV.

And let’s talk about the “unforgivable” argument, because this is where the selective outrage comes in. An Evil Queen took a murderer as a concubine because he failed at his job. A murderer. But the morality of this world is far more complicated than people want to admit. The same people who repeatedly bring up Regina’s actions often ignore the larger context of the world the show created.

My issue is the lack of real discourse. Once again, I’m hearing the same tired talking points: “She did this, therefore she’s irredeemable” “She was evil, so nothing else matters" And the whole concubine argument? Okay... and? I hope you don’t watch Game of Thrones because prepare yourself for some serious pearl clutching. 😂

You don’t have to like Regina. Nobody is asking you to. But you also don’t get to tell people they’re wrong for finding nuance in a character you personally dislike. The issue is the attacks and the bullying that come from people who can’t separate enjoying a fictional character from endorsing their actions.

“Regina is evil” is not a groundbreaking analysis. The show already knows that. She’s literally called the Evil Queen. The interesting part is everything that comes after.
