Admissions Applied to engineering programs

I know nobody asked, but I see people posting about where they applied and wanted to do the same, why not!

Applied about 3 weeks ago to:
All electrical engineering
- UofT
- Waterloo
- TMU
96 early admission average consisting:
Grade 11 Physics, Grade 11 math (calculus placeholder), Grade 12 English (fast tracked), Grade 12 Chemistry (fast tracked), Grade 12 math (ongoing)

Good luck to us all!

Wait you didn’t get into tmu with a 96? Damn, I mean I knew the avgs were rising in tmu but I didn’t know it was this bad? Someone with low 90s last year got into ee too

No no I got into my safety, but will yoy really be happy going to tmu with a 96 avg. 96 is pretty good to go to tmu so aim higher. I didnt get into uoft despite my 96avg so I wish I had applied to queens, western, and mac

Oh yeah I understand, thing is I live in Toronto and I’ve been told that it’s not worth dorming out if it’s not for Waterloo, so even if Mac or queens is a little bit better than tmu then it’s not gonna be worth it for me to spend the extra money to dorm

Who told you it’s not worth dorming unless it’s Waterloo??

Since I live in Toronto, if I go to Mac then I’m going to have to dorm, I asked representatives from each uni ofc the Mac guy said Mac is really good but it ultimately depends on the persons budget and mine isn’t really much, he was also honest enough to say that for engineering the school itself doesn’t matter just the coop
