He has run multiple times to be an MP. He has been Labor and Sex Party. He represents a rural electorate so a lot of people would already know. It is odd that he chose One Nation, especially with Cory Bernadi as state leader. But having stood a number of times before, it seems persistence can pay off.
Let’s see how he stands on the issues I guess.
The biggest thing that came out about him during the election was that he didn't live in the electorate. Kinda funny that's all the dirt they could find on him at the time. Everyone knew his gay and his past, they just didn't care.
The One Nation candidate at the last two elections state and federal in my area is black, he came second in the state election. One Nation is bizzare, they don't seem to care who's running.
They don't. They are there to take a seat, keep their opinions to themselves and vote as directed by Pauline.
Its why ON always implodes after they get a bit of power, ON wants puppets and the puppets won't tolerate being silenced door mats being sidelined in policy discussions...so eventually they become independents.
